A Private Pilot License (PPL) is a license that permits a pilot to handle & command an aircraft privately. A PPL holder is not paid. The PPL provides foundational knowledge and skills for all future aircraft pilot training. As a Private Pilot, you can fly an airplane day and night in visual flight conditions.To obtain a PPL International Civil Aviation Authority (ICAO), determines the requirements, the regulatory body for obtaining a PPL differs from country to country. Mandatory Requirements for pursuing Private Pilot License Training

Completed 10th, from a recognized board/university or its equivalent examination.

Proficiency in English Language: You should be able to understand, read and write English to pursue your PPL course.

Class II Medical (Indian) with fitness certificate from DGCA designated medical practitioner.

Minimum of 16 years on date of joining Maverick Aviation and and 17 years for issue of PPL.

Ground Subjects for DGCA PPL exams
In order to get a PPL License it is mandatory for every candidate to clear the DGCA PPL exams. These Exams are conducted every 3 months by the DGCA which means you have 4 attempts in a year.

Private pilot course admission procedure
To take admission under a Private pilot License course the steps are basic & simple. The steps are-
1. The candidate must be fully eligible to take admission in training institutes.
2. A minimum qualification of standard 10th passed from a recognised board.
3. Candidates must at least have a basic knowledge of subjects Physics & Math.
4. Candidate has to successfully complete his class 2 medical examination from a DGCA approved medical examiner to know if the candidate is medically FIT to become a pilot.
Private Pilot License (PPL) Fees:
Private Pilot Licence course fees in India May differ from college to college. Factors like infrastructure, training facilities, faculty, external facilities etc are some responsible factors of the total fee amount. The average estimated fee for PPL Course in Indian colleges ranges from Rs. 8.5 lakh excluding of other factors like accommodation, location of the institute etc.
